The Ministry of Economic Development facilitates, leads and implements the Coalition Government’s vision for economic development. One of the Government’s key goals is to grow an inclusive, innovative economy for the benefit of all.The Ministry leads the production and co-ordination of policy advice related to economic, regional and industry development. We work with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (the New Zealand Government’s trade and economic development agency) to design and implement programmes to deliver the Government’s economic development policies.
