Recognition for Emerging Leader in Private Capital
Objective
NZ Private Capital wants to celebrate the younger generation of leaders in Private Capital by providing an opportunity to recognise people from NZ Private Capital members who have demonstrated aspirations for leadership in the sector.
Key results
- Up to three leaders from NZ Private Capital members receive recognition for their accomplishments and contribution to the sector, as well as their future potential;
- NZ Private Capital reputation is enhanced by supporting the awards;
- The participating firms appreciate the effort to encourage young leaders; and
- One leader will be recognised as the overall winner.
Benefits
Finalists and winner will be recognised for their accomplishments and future potential by
celebrating their achievements as follows:
- Free ticket to the 2024 annual conference if conference ticket has not already been provided by their employer.
- Media announcement by NZ Private Capital.
- Opportunity to be referenced or quoted in an NZ Private Capital Newsletter.
- Finalists and winner will receive a letter of recognition from NZ Private Capital.
Criteria
- Working for a member fund manager or Limited Partner.
- Thirty-five or under years of age on 30 September 2024.
- The nominee has significant accomplishments and demonstrates future potential and contribution to the sector.
- No limit on the number of nominees per member organisation; and
- The nominee has been employed by any member organisation for more than one year.
Application process
- NZ Private Capital will send an invitation to members who are fund managers or Limited Partners requesting nominations.
- all nominations and information are submitted as requested on the nomination form via email;
- answers need to be kept concise and to the point;
- nominations are sent to NZ Private Capital by 5pm on the 30 September 2024;
- all nominations will be considered by an expert judging panel; and
- the person submitting the nomination form must be authorised to provide the information to the judging panel and to NZ Private Capital. The information submitted will be confidential to the judging panel.
Judging results
Up to three finalists for Emerging Leader Award will be announced prior to the annual conference. NZ Private Capital will announce the Award winner at the annual conference on 24 October 2024.
