Aspiring Women Named for the 2022 Year by New Zealand Private Capital Association

The New Zealand Private Capital Association celebrated this year’s Aspiring Women with awards at its annual conference in Queenstown yesterday (20 October).

NZ Private Capital ASPIRING WOMEN AWARD FINALISTS:

Fiona Foster from Movac

Lauren Fong from Icehouse Ventures

Madeleine Rogers from Direct Capital

Skye Grayson from Quidnet Ventures

Fiona Foster was named the Aspiring Woman of the Year award winner.

Commenting on the awards NZ Private Capital Executive Director, Colin McKinnon says: “The excellence and commitment of the women finalists was exceptional. Their contribution to the performance of their firms and the industry was remarkable.

“The winners of our 2022 awards are inspirational for all young people wanting to make a difference and accelerate their ambitions for leadership roles.”

Entries were judged on key milestones achieved, leadership experience and aspirations. The finalist’s contributions to the industry, innovation, and willingness to accelerate diversity and inclusiveness goals were also considered.

Mr McKinnon adds: “The NZ Private Capital Aspiring Women Awards recognise the young women in private equity and venture capital firms that are developing into the industry leaders of the future.
