NZ Private Capital Firm Award
Background
The Annual NZ Private Capital conference includes the NZ Private Capital “Firm of the Year” Award presentation.
These awards highlight the significant and outstanding contribution that firms within the private capital industry have made to the New Zealand economy and demonstrating the real value of investment in the sector to grow businesses and drive innovation.
Nominations are sought from NZ Private Capital members for fund managers from all investment stages. One award will be announced in 2024.
Judging Criteria
The NZ Private Capital Firm of the Year awards are judged based on key attributes of a fund manager. These attributes include leadership in industry development, particularly in the areas of supporting the educational and career development of emerging talent, industry ESG and DEI performance, governance, stakeholder engagement and community and philanthropic support.
Firm Award nominations criteria are:
• the fund manager is a current member of NZ Private Capital;
• all nominations and information are submitted as requested on the nomination form via email;
• answers need to be kept concise and to the point;
• submissions are sent to NZ Private Capital by 5pm on the 30 September 2024;
• all nominations will be considered by an expert judging panel; and
• the person submitting the nomination form must be authorised to provide the information to the judging panel and to NZ Private Capital. The information submitted will be confidential to the judging panel.
Judging results
Up to three finalists for NZ Private Capital Firm Awards will be announced prior to the annual conference. NZ Private Capital will announce the Award winner at the annual conference on 24 October 2024.
